Yes, you may register for both courses now and defer one of the courses until a

Who should take these courses and how much will this program help me?
Any student who plans to attend college must take either the ACT or the SAT. Since
most colleges will accept either test, many students take both exams and submit their better
score. Studies by the Federal Trade Commission show that students who prepare for the college
entrance exams score significantly higher that those who do not.
When should I take the ACT, SAT, and PSAT?
Exams for the ACT are given five times and exams for the SAT are given seven times
each year. Students should take the ACT and SAT test(s) in the spring or summer of their junior
year, or in the first semester of their senior year. Students are allowed to take either of the
exams as many times as they wish. The PSAT, a preliminary SAT and a source of scholarships
for students with high scores, is generally administered only one time each year - in October of
the junior year. Students should begin preparation for the exams in the spring of their sophmore
year.
When should I register for classes?
Class sizes are limited. Students will be accepted on a first-come basis with late
registrations accepted as long as space is available.
